The following is a statement by the company:

“After 39 years in business, A Second Look Consignment Superstore will be closing its doors effective March 1st, 2019.

This was a difficult and emotional decision, but in light of the current economy and evolving retail landscape, one that we felt was necessary.

We have begun the process of liquidating our inventory, as well as winding down operations. Given the number of consignors and volume of merchandise, we anticipate this to take several weeks to complete. Our primary focus through this process will be to ensure all accounting is complete and accurate for our valued partners. We ask everyone for your patience as we move forward with accomplishing that goal.

We are requiring consignors to collect all items from A Second Look before March 1st, 2019. Any merchandise that has not been claimed by that date, either in person or via written notice, will be considered unclaimed and processed in-house. Unfortunately, A Second Look will be unable to process payments at the store as was previously done. Checks for any and all outstanding merchandise sold will be sent via USPS mail as soon as they’re processed.”
