Traveling coast to coast, the Digital Bookmobile National Tour is making a stop in Peoria! The Digital Bookmobile is powered by OverDrive, the digital reading platform for more than 43,000 libraries and schools worldwide, including the Peoria public libraries.
A high-tech update to the traditional Bookmobile, this 53-foot-long community outreach vehicle is for public libraries and schools to promote their digital catalog of eBooks, audiobooks, magazines and streaming video to their communities. Readers of all ages can learn about and engage with digital books at their local school or library inside the Digital Bookmobile. The traveling exhibit tours North America and contains several interactive learning stations. All Digital Bookmobile events are free to host and attend.

To date, the Digital Bookmobile has visited 52 states/provinces, hosted 1,097 events and 249,449 visitors!
