Anthem celebrates its 18th annual Independence Day Celebration July 3 in Community Park from 6-10 p.m. The popular event includes wet and dry rides, inflatables, food vendors, a DJ/dancing, fireworks and more.
Dry rides and inflatables will be on Softball Field #1; water rides will be located on Softball Fields #2 and #3. Each individual is required to have a wristband to ride the slides or use the inflatables; they are available for an early-bird price of $12 during June at the Anthem Community Center, 41130 N. Freedom Way. Wristbands also will be available for purchase at the event for $15 each. Wristbands are non-refundable and non-replaceable.

The event will conclude with the National Anthem and the fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Businesses in Cave Creek are teaming up to host two early celebrations in honor of Independence Day, complete with fireworks, on Sat., July 1 and Mon., July 3. Both events are free to attend and open to the public.

“The Fourth on the First” will take place at Frontier Town, located at 6245 E. Cave Creek Rd., on Sat., July 1. The family-friendly event begins at 4 p.m. and features live music, a kid’s splash area, mechanical bull riding, delicious food and beverages and shopping throughout the Western-themed town in the heart of Cave Creek. The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.
Redneck Revolution, a country band that also plays soft and southern rock, will entertain guests from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and The Saints of Las Vegas, a rock band, featuring Brent Muscat from Faster Pussycats, will perform from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The “3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza” will start at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 3. The celebration is sponsored by Harold’s Corral, 6895 E. Cave Creek Rd., Roadhouse, 6900 E. Cave Creek Rd., and The Buffalo Chip Saloon, 6811 E Cave Creek Rd., in Cave Creek.

With the help of Rural Metro, the fireworks are safely shot off from a hill behind Harold’s, beginning just after sunset. As one of the largest fireworks displays in the Valley, the “3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza” is one of the most exhilarating shows in the state.

The celebration before the fireworks will include live music, kid’s activities, and food and drink specials at all three restaurants. Admission is free and on a first come first serve basis. A free shuttle service will be available to transport people around town from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Desert Ridge Fireworks – Independence Day Celebration. On Saturday, July 1, 2017 – 7:30 to 10 p.m. (fireworks at approximately 9 p.m.) at Reach 11 Sports Complex (located at 2425 E. Deer Valley Rd.)

In partnership with Desert Ridge Community Association, this event will be the first of its kind to be held at Reach 11 Sports Complex. Families and friends are encouraged to come together to celebrate and enjoy this FREE Independence Day event. Concessions – including shaved ice, snow cones, hot dogs, beverages, and more – will be available for purchase. The festivities will be highlighted by a spectacular fireworks display.
