Kindergarten Roundup happens at NVCA on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Mandy Davis, Kindergarten teacher, will speak about what Kindergarten looks like at NVCA. The event also provides an opportunity for students attending with their parents to do an activity with Mrs. Davis while parent(s) get a broader overview of what NVCA has to offer from the NVCA leadership team, both in educational programs and financial aid opportunities.
ADD/ADHD Workshop, January 22, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A professional in the field will address: ‘Providing support and guidance to educators, families, and children on ADD/ADHD questions.’ The topic will explore options that help kids with ADD/ADHD improve their ability to pay attention, control impulsive behavior, and curb hyperactivity. Core Knowledge Curriculum Night, January 22, 2015 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. An opportunity for parent(s) to tour the NVCA facility and meet with the dedicated, professional teachers that provide individualized attention and instruction to maximize different learning styles. NVCA leadership will also be available to answer questions on curriculum and financial assistance opportunities.
