When comparing the 6-month period from February 15 to August 15 for last year versus this year, we see some interesting trends.

Sales volume is down 7 percent to 10 percent, while prices are up 9 percent to 13 percent. Also, homes are selling 11 to 13 days faster. From these numbers, it looks like the COVID-19 pandemic has had little effect on folks wanting to buy or sell homes. Instead, these numbers indicate a normal fluctuation in the market. It looks like we have more buyers than sellers right now and the market remains in good health.
