The City of Phoenix, Phoenix Fire Department and Phoenix Police Department are hosting a Bike Rodeo safety adventure and a Child Car Seat Installation event at three separate locations this Saturday.

Just Bike Rodeos:          Esteban Park
32nd Street and Washington Street
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Arizona Science Center
5th Street and Washington Street
3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Bike Rodeo:  Children between the ages of 5 and 15 will enjoy a skills course to educate them on the rules of the road, crosswalks, dangers and bicycle maintenance.  The Bike Rodeo will include FREE instruction in helmet safety.  Helmets will be handed out to those in need.


Car Seat Installation event:  Eighty percent of child car seats are installed incorrectly.

If you’re not sure that your child’s car seat is installed properly in your vehicle, this is a FREE opportunity to have certified Car Seat Technicians install it and educate you on how to make your child as safe as possible.
