The 1st Annual Community Christmas Festival is intended to bring the entire community and surrounding communities together for fun, fellowship, music and food.
With a sense of “community” and means of bringing the start of holiday gift buying in one central location, this Festival is the place to be with only homemade crafts, arts, jewelry, jams & jellies, together with unique items, photography and so much more offered in one place! No RESALE or YARD SALE items will be found here!
There will be a Santa’s Workshop & Crafts for the kids (and a place children can purchase small presents for family and friends – then wrap them for Christmas!) with Face Painting and a mini Petting Zoo.
Two raffles will be held for some wonderfully donated items! These will be held at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5.
For all to hear, there will be sounds of the season with LIVE MUSIC throughout the day. Once evening sets in, all can witness the lighting ceremony as the area is illuminated with the magic of Christmas. Afterwards, everyone is invited to be warmed be the fire sharing a cup of hot cocoa or spiced cider while awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus.
The SonShine Learning Center will receive any proceeds of this fundraiser which will help support costs of the new building re-model and the high cost of associated fees and licenses of their school. We have hopes of getting the school kids in their new building in early 2017.
