First Annual Christmas Tree Village at The Farm in Dewey ~ Mortimer’s Family Farm
Mortimer Farms and Mortimer Nursery are excited to be kicking off the first annual Christmas Tree Village at The Farm in Dewey this coming December. The Christmas Tree Village will be open and available for families on Saturday and Sunday December 5th and 6th and Saturday and Sunday December 12th and 13th from 9 am to 6 pm.
The event will feature a magical display of Christmas trees, Poinsettias and other holiday plants from Mortimer Nursery. The lights and festive farm decorations will feature fun for the whole family. There is a special package that consists of hot apple cider, a cup of homemade soup and ½ fresh sandwich per person made in Grandma’s Kitchen at the country farm store. The package also includes an educational hay wagon ride around the 300 acres plus roasting S’mores around the open fire pit. Special picture taking in a magical farm setting will be made available.
The petting zoo will be available with the farms 4 legged furry farm friends. The farm store is accepting orders for fresh homegrown turkeys, homemade pies and cinnamon rolls for the holiday season. Live Christmas trees as well as pre-cut trees can be purchased at the farm and the nursery as well.
