Another new hotspot has just opened its doors at 10608 N. 32nd St (NW corner of 32nd St. and Shea) in the North 32nd Street Corridor. Located in the Paradise Hills Shopping Center, Wood Fired Pizzeria Gelato Spot bring another new local owner and establishment to our bustling and ever-expanding neighborhood.
My business partner and I decided to go and check it out and arrived to a packed parking lot and standing room only during the dinner rush. Access was easy from either Shea or 32nd St. and being a corner location, the restaurant had great visibility both in and out.
The décor is simple, yet clean and modern with an open and airy feeling. The owner, Mei, who owns multiple Gelato spots throughout the valley, said she wanted to do something “beyond just a Gelato Spot and wanted a fun and friendly local dining place too.”
In my opinion, she hit a home run. The service was excellent, the menu was small yet had enough on it that even the pickiest eaters could find something, from appetizers, to salads, to pasta dishes (half or whole), to great wood fired pizzas made from scratch and a full bar with wine and mixed drinks. Flat screen TVs, wi-fi and large garage doors that open up to outside seating areas create a fun and relaxed environment to enjoy a meal.
It’s great to see local businesses coming into the North 32nd Street community and investing in its growth and future success. I would highly recommend checking out Wood Fired Pizzeria Gelato Spot. They have a bit of everything for everyone.
