Desert Ridge Marketplace is preparing for the holiday season with an array of cheerful and colorful events. Guests will be treated to free family fun, live entertainment, and no shortage of picture-perfect photo opportunities.
Desert Ridge Marketplace is excited to host the 6th annual Fashion Week 4 Kids on Saturday, November 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a full day of fashion shows at The District Stage, live children’s entertainment, fun activities, vendors, and more.
The shopping center’s holiday festivities will then kick off with the can’t-miss annual holiday tree lighting ceremony taking place November 20. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, the first snowfall, caroling, crafts, and photos with Santa and other favorite holiday characters. The District will light up for the first time as Desert Ridge Marketplace unveils Christmas in Color, a collection of festive photo opps in vibrant shades on display through December 31.
Continuing the holiday spirit, Desert Ridge Marketplace invites guests to partake in their Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree program. The center has partnered with the Salvation Army to provide holiday gifts to children in need. Guests can visit the table near Dave & Buster’s, pull a tag, and buy a gift. Additionally, nightly snowfall will make its return at The District stage. From November 20 through December 31, Desert Ridge Marketplace will transform into a living snow globe with a nightly snowfall every evening at 7 and 8 p.m. Plus, enjoy snowfall every hour on Christmas Eve. (To plan ahead: there will be no snow fall on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day).
Desert Ridge Marketplace will also feature some of the Valley’s hottest local bands at The District Stage every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy sounds from Rio Grande, Serena Nicolle, Alexia Rodriguez, Come Back Buddy, and more.
