Park West is getting into the holiday spirit with multiple events designed to help shoppers find the perfect gift on their lists while finding added joy this season. Throughout November and December, guests are invited to Park West to take part in multiple activities for the whole family.
On Saturday, November 27, Park West presents a very special guest — Santa Claus! From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.., shoppers can get their picture taken with Jolly Old St. Nick in front of a beautiful holiday backdrop featuring a classic Airstream camper and Christmas trees, all decked out for the season. DJ Pulse will be spinning classic and retro holiday tunes to help guests feel “merry and bright” as they await their visit with Santa. Photos are complimentary.
Saturday, November 27 is also Shop Small Saturday, an opportunity for shoppers to support their favorite small business or local retailer, which they can do at Park West in a variety of ways, including the Park West Market! Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Park West Market is bustling with local vendors and purveyors offering unique artisan items perfect for building a delicious holiday meal or for gifting. As a look ahead, throughout December, Park West presents the Holiday Crafting Club for kids with three events — Saturday, December 4, December 11 and December 18. During each event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., near the splash pad area, children will have the opportunity to get creative and make a holiday-themed craft to take home and display on their Christmas tree or to give to a loved one on their list. Each session features a different holiday craft; events are free, and all materials are supplied.
In addition to shopping and crafting, Park West serves as the perfect place to gather with loved ones and friends to celebrate the holidays. With a vast array of dining choices, families and neighbors are sure to find the perfect place to meet to raise a glass in honor of the holidays or to dine out with out-of-town guests while showcasing some of the best dining and entertainment in Peoria.
