Benevilla is excited to announce that they raised over $67,000 during their 40th Anniversary Golf Tournament Fundraiser that took place in late 2021. Over 100 golfers attended the four-person scramble and enjoyed a lot of fun playing in the numerous tournament player activities, including top score prizes, a hole-in-one contest with a chance to split a $10,000 cash prize with Benevilla, closest to the pin contests, and raffles.
Proceeds from this event support the many programs Benevilla, a nonprofit organization, provides, including extensive support services for older adults, adults with disabilities, children, and the families who care for them since 1981. This year, Benevilla is celebrating 41 years of serving others through life enriching programs and services, day programs for adults with dementia and other disabilities, free grocery shopping services, transportation to medical appointments, caregiver support groups, and many other vital community services.
“This was a fun and amazing event and Benevilla is so thankful to all of the players, volunteers, and sponsors for making it so successful,” says Joanne Thomson, Benevilla President and CEO. “Our tournament and the work it supports in the community is only made possible through the generous support of local supporters and sponsors, including presenting sponsor Arrowhead Lexus.”
