Local foodies continue to be excited over the opening of The Dexter Public House. While progress has been slower than expected, as of press time, signs were spotted, and the occasion was noted on social media.
“We are very excited for The Dexter Public House to open at 83 Marketplace,” says Katie Roe of Upper West Side PHX (@upperwestsidephx on Facebook), a grassroots community movement encouraging specialty shops and restaurants to open locations on the Upper West Side. “It is highly anticipated by the community and we’re looking forward to having additional dining options close to home. We were happy to see the sign go up last month and we can’t wait for the menu reveal.”
The Dexter Public House will be known for, “New American cuisine, creative cocktails, and urban vibes right in your neighborhood,” according to its website. They will serve up brunch, happy hours, and dinner offerings. According to their social media, menu items will be announced soon. The restaurant’s staff predicts a fall 2022 opening date.
