Gucci opened a new 5,000 square foot men’s boutique in Scottsdale Fashion Square last month. Marking the second dedicated men’s store for Gucci in the United States, the boutique showcases the breadth of the men’s offering across men’s shoes, luggage, small leather goods, belts, jewelry, watches, and eyewear, for guests to explore.
The new boutique complements the Gucci women’s location within Scottsdale Fashion Square, offering guests the expansive Gucci collection at the shopping center. Within the new men’s location, customers can discover a range of men’s and travel luggage products, including the Linea Bauletto bag and Ophidia Duffel.
With a look that invites customers to feel welcome and relaxed, the interior design is discreet. In keeping with the elegant and contemporary eclecticism that characterizes Gucci’s collections, the store sees the combination of traditional and modern, industrial, and romantic. Contrasting merchandising elements represent different design codes, combining to create curiosity, inviting customers to feel like they are discovering new aspects of the store.
The mood within the store is one of discretion, where understated drama is created by the surprising and unexpected combination of materials. Custom patterned green carpeted floors produce decorative effects throughout the store, while being harmoniously complemented by Gucci Décor’s Glade Print wallpaper. Juxtaposition of this sort, where opposites forge a new connection, is repeated throughout: technical, mechanical display units contrast with the softness of the rich fabrics that adorn the rooms; round tables offset rectangular ones; varnished, black and gold iron wall finishes complement moss green velvets, used for upholstery and fitting rooms. Throughout the store one finds sumptuous chairs, while vintage oriental rugs are over the carpet for a textured effect. The result is a space that entices, surprises, and feels personal to Gucci.
