Join Unbridled Pathways for a little horsin’ around for a great cause at Boots, Bourbon & BBQ FUNdraiser, Saturday, Nov. 2, 3-7 p.m. at Arizona Horseback Adventures in Cave Creek, AZ.
The focus of this year’s event raising money for their new program, “Unbridled Confidence”. They are excited to partner with Arizona Horseback Adventures ranch for a true rustic, cowboy experience, including a horse-human connection demo.
In addition to live music performed by Pandy Raye and friends, bourbon and vodka tastings from Carefree Spirits Distillery and 4 Branches Bourbon, and cowboy BBQ. Dance lessons that were so popular our first year will return. A small collection of local vendors for shopping, auctions, raffles, and a big dose of bringing the community together. “Unbridled Confidence” is an innovative program designed to empower middle school-age girls through the profound connection between humans and horses. This program focuses on personal growth, self-confidence, improved social skills and emotional validation. Self-confidence plays a significant role in understanding boundaries and preventing bullying.
This new program is based on the “4BNU Tween Mentoring Program” written by Susan F. Moody, Certified Confidence Coach for Tweens and Teens. Unbridled Pathways is partnering with Liz Covert, of TRRFCC Horsemanship, to incorporate the powerful equine component with nonjudgmental wisdom from the horses. This exciting new program will be co-facilitated by Susan, Liz and Unbridled Pathways Founder, Leeanne Gardner. The Goal is to launch this fall at Sonoran Trails Middle School. Their intention is to provide no-cost access to this program. Horses are great teachers for boundaries, self-confidence and authenticity.
