Enjoy tea and treats from the comfort and safety of your own home while supporting local nonprofit Duet: Partners In Health & Aging. A holiday tradition 30 years in the making, this year’s Poinsettia Tea will take place virtually from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 6.
“This year, the entire event will be streamed online to keep everyone safe while directly supporting our vital mission to promote health and well-being through vitally needed services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities, and grandfamilies,” says Duet Executive Director Ann Wheat. “One of the benefits of the event being virtual is that you can gather together with your family and friends near and far, bringing multiple generations together, all for the greater good. We hope new and established Duet supporters can join us for this action-packed hour of fun and philanthropy.”
Those who register by November 15 will have the option of receiving a unique Poinsettia Package filled with tea, coffee, delectable treats, and fun prizes tucked inside. The 30th annual Poinsettia Tea will feature heartfelt stories about Duet’s impact in the community and guests will enjoy the festive sounds of The Ames-Apperson Duet. Destry Jetton, Arizona Midday host, will serve as the emcee. There will also be an online auction and fun surprises to keep guests entertained and engaged. Tickets to the Poinsettia Tea are $75. Guests can register for the tea online at duetaz.org/tea.
All proceeds raised from the Poinsettia Tea will support Duet’s vitally needed health and well-being services that are provided free of charge for family caregivers, grandparents raising grandchildren, homebound adults, and faith communities. SRP is the event’s Platinum Sponsor.
