This spectacular occasion promises an unparalleled glimpse into the artistic tapestry of the intricate costumes worn by Ballet Arizona dancers during their mesmerizing performances.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the corridors of Ballet Arizona at 2835 E. Washington St., in Phoenix, will reverberate with the clinks of cocktail glasses, the buzz of enthusiasts, and the enchantment of ballet transformed into high fashion. The event, curated by Ballet Arizona’s Contemporary Council, offers guests the unique experience of seeing dancers swap the stage for the catwalk, showcasing a range of costumes from classic, ethereal tutus to modern, avant-garde masterpieces.
“The allure of ballet isn’t just in the dance, but in the visual storytelling of the costumes,” says a representative from Ballet Arizona. “Fashion & Fizz provides an intimate look at these wearable pieces of art and the stories they tell.”
Beyond the glitz and glam, attendees can indulge in cocktails and sparkling wines. The evening will also tantalize taste buds with delectable bites courtesy of Clever Koi, exclusively available for VIP ticket holders. As an additional treat, a raffle is on the cards, with coveted prizes from prestigious local resorts and eateries up for grabs.
The Contemporary Council, the organizing board behind the evening, plays a pivotal role in fostering a new wave of ballet aficionados through novel fundraising endeavors, dynamic events, and community volunteering. Tickets are available in three tiers: General Admission: $50 (inclusive of a drink and a raffle ticket). VIP: $80 (inclusive of two drinks, a raffle ticket, reserved seating, access to the VIP lounge and private bar, and light bites). Premium VIP: $125 (all VIP perks with premium front-row seating and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the costume shop).
