We are excited to kick-off the first annual Lunar New Year Festival in conjunction with 9 Dragons Kung Fu, Arizona Language Preparatory and Desert Ridge Music Academy. The festivities will kick off at 11AM-2PM at The District Stage and culminate 4PM-6PM at the AMC Lawn.
Also referred to as Chinese New Year, the Lunar New Year begins on the new moon which falls on February 16. Each year is associated with a Zodiac animal, and this year we will enter The Year of The Dog. Throughout the world you can find incredible celebrations filled with dramatic dances, delicious foods and splashes of the auspicious color red.
