Recently, the city of Peoria approved HonorHealth’s purchase of a parcel of land in Peoria. This real estate purchase agreement between the city of Peoria and HonorHealth calls for the $3.43 million purchase of 7.51 acres with plans to develop a 75,000 square foot HonorHealth ambulatory medical campus.

The 7.51 acres of land is located between 83rd Avenue and the Loop 101 freeway, north of the alignment of Banff Lane and south of Skunk Creek. As of press time, HonorHealth has not finalized a timeline or specific services that will be offered at this location. However, HonorHealth is moving forward with planning this project and will release additional details as they are finalized.

“HonorHealth is thrilled this land purchase is approved in Peoria,” says David Price, senior vice president of HonorHealth’s ambulatory operations. “This new location will provide the residents of Peoria increased access to a variety of top-quality healthcare services closer to home.”

HonorHealth is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in Arizona with a presence that already extends into the Peoria area. There are seven existing medical offices in the city of Peoria that offer a range of services from primary care to specialty care.

This new location will allow HonorHealth to reach more Peoria residents and create jobs. It will also include the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Care Network, a multidisciplinary comprehensive cancer care program, primary care and specialty care services, outpatient therapy services, ambulatory surgery center, outpatient medical imaging, and more.
