The area has several great restaurant spots, and now joining the ranks of good, nearby places to grab breakfast, brunch, or lunch is a Valley favorite. Local breakfast hotspot Over Easy has recently opened a new location in the Northwest Valley at 67th Avenue and Deer Valley. This new 3,600-square-foot restaurant, offering pure fun and good food, has become the 12th location for the chain in the Valley. The new restaurant, designed by the Scottsdale-based architecture firm Aline Architecture Concepts, features a main dining area, bar, and patio that can accommodate up to 170 visitors every day.
The restaurant features modern décor with custom neon signs and wall murals, creating a very inviting spot to gather with friends and family. The local eatery is definitely known for its innovative take on breakfast classics. Classic dishes are offered, of course, including a two-egg breakfast with two eggs any style served with a choice of potato, toast, and your choice of applewood smoked bacon, sausage links, ham steak, or maple chicken sausage, or traditional eggs benedict with thick-cut ham, hollandaise sauce, English muffin, and choice of potato.
Looking for something a bit more unique? You’ll find that here as well. Some options include sweet items such as Cinnamon Roll French Toast, featuring two split cinnamon rolls dipped in cinnamon vanilla custard, fresh orange royal icing, and powdered sugar. They also serve famous golden waffle dogs, consisting of three hearty sausage links, dipped in vanilla waffle batter, then fried to a golden brown.
If savory is more your style, there are those options on the menu as well. There is Over Easy’s take on chicken fried steak, which is a tender steak, scratch-made country gravy, two eggs, and choice of potato and toast. They also offer lunch menu items including wraps, sandwiches, and salads for those looking for other-than-breakfast options.
The menu also includes a variety of beverage options including juices, coffee – both hot and iced – fountain drinks, as well as a full bar with breakfast favorites including different mimosas, bloody Marys, and their self-described ‘Brunchtails’ menu.
No matter what you are looking for, there is bound to be a tasty delight for everyone. Over Easy also recently opened a location in Flagstaff and is planning on three more spots in the near future.
