While COVID-19 social and health restrictions have changed events as we knew them, things can still be beautiful in their own way. To this point, Everything Beautiful Gallery and High Street are hosting the Everything Beautiful Art Walk from 6 – 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 10. This event will mark the seasonal return of Second Saturdays at High Street. The event is free to attend for locals and is presented by CAST Salon & Spa.
“It has been a challenging time for everyone, and as a community, we have the ability to come together and support a very important group of artists and small businesses,” the organizers of the event wrote in an recent e-mail to patrons.
“We will have booths outside, socially distanced walkways, live music, and the High Street restaurants along with House of Comedy will welcome you to dine, drink and laugh during your evening with us,” they continued. “This pandemic has forced us to slow down, appreciate life and pay more attention to how we spend our time. Some of us have revisited our basic creative outlets to calm our nervousness and anxiety. With your support we are able to share that with the community.”
Organizers promise that the event will be “a day of great friends, great food and great art.” Moving forward, the event will be on the second Saturday of each month for the season’s duration. Local artists of all mediums are invited to join in and can sign up on the event’s webpage at everythingbeautifulartwalk.org. The monthly event will take place at High Street shopping center, located at 5415 E. High Street in Phoenix.
