Every Friday, food trucks arrive in droves to the Food Truck Friday West event by Get Local Arizona Events.
This gathering of popular local business is a family-friendly affair that includes a free bounce house and a rotating lineup of anywhere from eight to 12 different food trucks local to the Valley.
“Each week, we host different trucks to give both the guests and the vendors more opportunities to connect,” says Get Local Arizona Events Owner Christa Esquibel. “Parents love it, kids love it, and the foodies especially love it because they come and get to try out different cuisines.”
Unique Food Truck Friday vendors include Elote Man, serving Mexican street corn, Hibachibot, serving Korean barbeque, and the Fry Bread Truck that serves a Native American crisp bread that includes savory or sweet toppings.
“We always make sure to rotate concepts so that patrons could come week after week and always experience something different,” says Esquibel. “It literally never gets old!”
“I think the possibilities for food trucks are endless at this point,” Esquibel adds. “That’s what makes it so exciting for guests.”
Food Truck Fridays happens every Friday at Desert Financial Credit Union, located at 17445 N. 79th Avenue in Glendale from 5-9 p.m. Admission is free and the event is great for families.
