The team behind Aioli Gourmet Burgers has launched a new business that gives back to the community called Fresh Taste Meal Prep (FTMP).
They prepare fully cooked refrigerated meals that can be delivered to your doorstep or picked up. How does it work? You order meals online for weekly delivery or for pick up in Phoenix. For every 10 meals purchased, FTMP will donate one meal to a local nonprofit to be distributed to those in need.
To keep things exciting, menu offerings change weekly and can be customized to fit any dietary needs. Meals can be ordered once or you can sign up for ongoing weekly service. The more meals you order, the lower the price per meal. Examples of menu options include beef and broccoli, roasted pepper tomato basil soup, breakfast tacos, citrus glazed salmon, coconut curry shrimp, turkey melt sandwich, and more. Each meal can be reheated in the microwave within minutes.
“When the pandemic hit, we quickly pivoted our business model, moving into a prepared meals program for those staying at home. Soon after, my team quickly realized that frontline workers needed support and we created a meal donation program,” says says Tommy D’Ambrosio, chef and owner. “During the first month after we launched, we donated more than 1,000 meals to the staff at HonorHealth, Valleywise Health and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. That’s what sparked the creation of Fresh Taste Meal Prep, giving us the opportunity to support a local cause or food bank, every month of the year.”
