HI, MY NAME IS… Jacob Fann.
I’VE LIVED IN PHOENIX FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE––29 YEARS––AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE… there are so many opportunities out here compared to other states. I not only have my friends and family, but I have so many opportunities to grow and meet goals in all aspects of my life.
A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE INCLUDES… I live a crazy lifestyle. I usually don’t find myself in bed until 3 a.m. and then I am up by 6 a.m. to spend time with my 4-year-old son, Zepplin. At 9 a.m., my workday begins and between team strategy meetings, client meetings, and other tasks, I work late into the night.
MY FAMILY IS… so important to me. They really are the people that get me through the hard times and they are the reason I do what I do. I make a lot of sacrifices and find myself stressed a lot of the time, but they always keep me moving forward.
ONE THING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IS… coffee.
MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY IS… I have two favorite movies; The first is “The Lincoln Lawyer” starring Matthew McConaughey and the second is “The Greatest Showman.” In general, I enjoy movies and media because they help take me out of my own stress and escape into the lives of other people or characters.
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE… an NBA player.
THE SONG I WOULD SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT IS… “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME IS… my son, Zeppelin.
THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD WAS… clients with unrealistic expectations. I deeply care for each of my clients, but because what I do isn’t always in their wheelhouse, I’ve experienced requests that are far from possible, no matter how much I wish I could make their requests a reality.
THE PERFECT DAY IS… having no responsibilities. I would love to have just one day with no meetings or interruptions to be able to just go with the flow. I’d love to just spend a day enjoying football Sunday or another sporting event.
MY FAVORITE LOCAL NONPROFIT IS… Gigi’s Playhouse. I love what they do and what they stand for. My family has always been huge supporters of the organization.
MY LIFE CAN BE… insane and non-stop, but there is so much good, and I am grateful for the life I have.
THE BEST GIFT I’VE EVER RECEIVED WAS… a star. My girlfriend, Selena, went out of her way to find a way to purchase a real star for me and I love how meaningful it is.
MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE… Disneyland in October.
THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED IS… you aren’t owed a thing. You work for what you have.
