The Henbest Team has been what we now refer to as “Business As Unusual.” We are listing homes, showing homes and selling homes, but everything we do has an added step or several steps and we’ve had to adjust our processes. Our listings now feature 3-D tours, in addition to our standard videos and lifestyle photography, and we are ensuring safety protocol during staging, photo shoots, showings, inspections and final walk-throughs. The bottom line is that we are here for you, our clients and business partners. While there is a lot we can do virtually, we are also now engaging in more extensive communication via phone calls and FaceTime, and meeting our clients when necessary. We’ve also been reporting the facts regarding the housing market, so we hope you’ll follow us on social media for updates – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn have regular updates regarding real estate and the economy.

One thing that has really hit home (pun intended) during this time is just how much we love where we live. We are doing all we can to fully enjoy our home and neighborhood, which provides so much to be thankful for. We can walk outside our front door and enjoy beautiful scenery for walks or bike rides, we’re nearby fabulous restaurants for curbside pick-up, and we’re close to great hiking. We feel lucky every day to be living in our wonderful community and we’re also doing all we can to support our community.

To commemorate this time in our lives, my son and I recently participated in the Arizona Front Porch Project (arizonafrontporchproject.com). We wanted our photos to be a bit of a time capsule to remember this experience. We included puzzles, my laptop with Zoom, paper goods, and other memory items like my bike because I’ve been biking all over our area, and my son wore his bathrobe because that’s how it’s been around our home. We also featured my personal “Quarantheme” which is “Look For The Blooms.” It’s been our goal to look for the positive and create positive experiences for others. We’ve been paying it forward by supporting local businesses and charitable organizations. To start, we’ve been sending messages to our clients via @azsidewalksmiles (on Instagram) and they chalked the message on my driveway too. We also partnered with Il Bosco Pizza (best pizza in town) to deliver dinner to the clinical department at Mayo Hospital. If you’d like to take a snapshot of you in front of your home, we recommend visiting arizonafrontporchproject.com.

So, from our house to yours, we wish you good health and safety from this storm.
