As one of JLP’s signature fundraisers, Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event that provides children with hands-on learning opportunities to explore a variety of vehicles and to meet the people that build, protect and serve Valley communities.
Vehicles on display routinely include construction trucks, emergency responders, tractor trailers, utility trucks and a helicopter. Children will be able to explore the vehicles up close and learn about their purpose and function in the community. The event also features a DJ, local mascots, interactive educational games, bounce houses, slides, face painters, food trucks and more.
Join the festivities on Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Aviano Community Park, located at 3975 E Lockwood Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85050.
Funds raised from Touch-A-Truck will help support the mission of the Junior League of Phoenix, including JLP community programs and leadership training programs.
Back again this year is a horns-free hour from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., created specifically for children with special needs and sensitive ears in mind. During the horns-free hour, attendees will be able to enjoy the event without horn honking or disruptive noises.
Advance tickets are available for $7 for one, or $30 for five. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate: $8 for one or $35 for five. (Ticket cost includes all event entrees. Children under two receive free entry. Cash or Credit Cards Accepted.)
