The Kiwanis Marketplace Thrift Shop is proud to announce its 10th Anniversary, marking a decade of service to the Cave Creek and Carefree communities. Since opening its doors in 2014, the Marketplace has become a beloved local institution, offering quality, affordable items while supporting the charitable efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
Over the past decade, the Kiwanis Marketplace has not only provided a wide range of gently used goods, including furniture, clothing, electronics, and home décor, but it has also played a crucial role in funding the Kiwanis Club’s many community service projects. Most of the proceeds from the Marketplace directly support local initiatives such as scholarships for students, youth programs, and other charitable activities.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our community,” said Alex Perez, General Manager of the Kiwanis Marketplace. “Our success over the past ten years is a testament to the incredible support we have received from our customers, volunteers, and donors. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and are excited to continue our mission of giving back to the community.”
The Kiwanis Marketplace would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to its success over the years. The Marketplace’s dedicated team of volunteers, generous donors, and loyal customers has made it possible to raise over 5 million dollars for local charitable causes since its inception. The Marketplace helps the Kiwanis Club of Carefree give back to local organizations like the Desert Foothills YMCA, the Cave Creek Museum, the Sonoran Arts League, and the Cave Creek Unified School District, including giving out over $500,000 in scholarships to local students this year.
As the Kiwanis Marketplace looks forward to the next decade, it remains committed to its mission of serving the community with quality products at affordable prices, all while supporting the charitable work of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
