The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, is set to return to State Farm Stadium in Glendale from July 12 to 14. This indoor, air-conditioned event offers free parking and features over 1,000 exhibit booths, making it a prime destination for home improvement enthusiasts.
The home show promises a variety of attractions, including exclusive deals on cabinetry, flooring, solar solutions, windows, countertops, pools and spas, patio furniture, home décor, outdoor living solutions, and artificial turf.
“It’s bigger than ever – featuring more than 1,000 exhibit booths, kids’ workshops, educational seminars, complimentary food and beverage samples, gardening workshops, and more – there’s truly something for everyone,” says Katie Jones, show manager. “We’re also excited to announce that we have upcycled previous outdoor vinyl billboards and transformed them into fashionable bags that are locally made in support of our mission to reduce waste in Valley landfills. These bags are available at the July show.”
The show includes a range of free workshops and seminars. Attendees can participate in hands-on gardening workshops, where they can learn tips and techniques and take home the plant they practice on. The Arizona Flower Market will host these sessions, covering topics like kitchen herb gardens and succulent propagation.
Master Gardener seminars will provide expert advice on various gardening topics, such as watering in the desert, summer landscaping dos and don’ts, plants for pollinators, vegetable gardening, summer rose care, composting, and irrigation.
The show also offers complimentary samples of wine, artisan cheeses, sausages, fresh tortillas, and salsa. Additionally, food seminars will feature practical tips and live demonstrations on preparing agua frescas, BBQ techniques, and making homemade tortillas.
Children can enjoy the Kids’ Corner Family Craft Workshops, designed for ages 3 to 12, where they can engage in activities like painting, creating copper cactus pendants, and making handprint art pieces.
The show also supports local students. Visitors who donate a new backpack or specified school supplies will receive free admission tickets, with donations going to help Maricopa County students prepare for the upcoming school year.
The Maricopa County Home & Landscape Show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. General admission is $6 for adults, with free entry for children through 12 years of age. Special discounts are available for seniors, teachers, military personnel, and July birthday celebrants.
State Farm Stadium, located at 1 Cardinals Dr., in Glendale, provides a comfortable, indoor venue for the event. Wheelchair and scooter rentals are available, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.
