“Come in for a cup, leave with a smile,” is the motto of Paradox Brew, a new local coffee shop that just opened at 3215 E. Thunderbird Road.
“At Paradox Brew, we offer coffee made out of a roasted bean that has been in the family since 2004,” says owner Paul Schmitz. “We also have a variety of loose-leaf teas available. We sell teas and beans as well as drinks that will amaze and satisfy your every craving. In the mood for something caffeine-free? Try one of our steamers, herbal teas or an Italian soda.”
Schmitz says that he hopes the ambiance and environment of the new coffee shop will be what keeps customers coming back. “Paradox Brew offers a warm and friendly environment where everyone is invited to stay a while and enjoy a smile,” he adds.
While they’ve been open less than a month, the response from locals who have stopped by has been positive.
“Paradox Brew is a nice local coffee shop with great coffees and a super friendly owner,” says John O., a recent customer. On Facebook, customers seem to love the chai tea as well.
Schmitz says that an official website is in the works, but for the moment, North 32nd residents can find Paradox Brew on Facebook @paradoxbrewaz and on Instagram @paradoxbrew. The shop can also be reached via e-mail at [email protected].
“Find us on social media and help us spread the word that we’re here,” says Schmitz. “We are excited to be part of the local community. This is a dream years in the making.”
