On Saturday, May 11, the restaurant will host a “Sixteen Candles” themed birthday bash from 11 a.m. to midnight at its location at 9980 W. Happy Valley Pkwy, #1101.
Since its inception in 2008, Lakeside has become a staple in North Peoria, beloved for its blend of American and Southwest cuisine, and its commitment to community and fun. The upcoming celebration promises to keep that spirit alive by encouraging guests to don their favorite retro outfits from the 1980s, offering a playful plunge back in time.
The day-long event will feature a live DJ setting the tone with iconic ’80s hits during the day, followed by a performance from the popular local band, the Crown Kings, from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Attendees can look forward to a hula hoop contest, dance-offs, and special 1980s-themed drinks crafted for the occasion.
For families, the event offers plenty of activities including face painting from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the restaurant’s two dog-friendly patios. Plus, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal all day long
In addition to the festivities, Lakeside will be offering a week-long $16 burger and beer special for the week leading up to the event. For those who love happy hour, enjoy happy hour food and drink specials from 3 p.m. to close.
