My company and title is… Elegant Gents Barbershop and I’m a master barber.
A typical day in my life
includes… waking up early with my wife and getting my two boys ready for school. This usually involves a series of negotiations like what my boys are going to eat for breakfast, what snack they want to take to school and which cartoon they want to watch while they eat breakfast. After dropping my boys off at school, I finally head to my barbershop. My day at the barbershop involves me making my clients hair look elegant. It’s important to me to build relationships with my clients and give them the best service possible. When I leave the shop for the day, I head home and spend time with my family.
My favorite thing about living/working in the North 32nd area is… all the businesses and people surrounding the shop. Most businesses try to support the locals and try to all stay together.
My favorite movie I could never get tired of
watching and why… The Godfather because there are so many lessons to be learned about life.
My family is… my wife and my two boys.
The business lesson I learned the hard way is… if you want to be successful, you have to believe in yourself. Don’t be afraid to take risks and don’t get discouraged. Just stay committed and work hard on your business plan.
One thing I cannot live without is… my family.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… a surgeon.
The song that I would sing at Karaoke night is… the Rocky song “Eye of the Tiger”
The one person who motivates me is… my wife
The perfect day would be… spending time with my family like going for breakfast and then doing something fun. Then watch a movie with my feet up while sipping on a beer.
My first job was… working as a barber at Paradise Valley Barbershop
I’m currently working on… growing my business and getting my name out in the community, while helping my clients look and feel their best with every haircut and/or shave. (See my ad in the business directory on page 40!)
The best gift I’ve ever received was… my two boys.
The actor I would want to play me in a movie is… Al Pacino.
My dream vacation would be… to Greece Santorini.
