Kindergarten registration is underway for the 2020-21 school year at all 34 Peoria Unified elementary schools. Families can register their student by visiting the district’s website www.peoriaunifed.org/enrollment or by visiting their neighborhood Peoria Unified school.

Families who live outside of the district’s boundaries can register their child for a Peoria Unified school by filling out an Open Enrollment Form and bringing it to the school of their choice, along with a completed registration packet. Note that not all schools are currently accepting open enrollment due to capacity.

Children, who are five years old before September 1, may be registered at the school site. Parents should bring the following documents when they register their child:
• the child’s original birth certificate;
• up-to-date immunization records;
• proof of residency in the district (a utility bill or lease agreement is acceptable)

Incoming kindergarteners and their families are invited to come see what Kindergarten in their neighborhood Peoria school is all about during a Connect to Kindergarten event. Connect to Kindergarten provides a unique opportunity to tour the school, meet teachers and staff, and learn how to prepare for the start of school. Connect to Kindergarten events will be held during the spring across all Peoria Unified elementary. A list of Connect to Kindergarten dates, times and locations is available online at www.peoriaunified.org/kindergarten.

If you have any questions about the enrollment process, please contact the district office at 623-486-6000 or reach out to one of the schools directly.
