A luxurious Peoria residence recently sold for $5.275 million, setting a new city record for the highest-priced sale of a luxury home. Located at 8035 W. Expedition Way, the nearly 12,000-square-foot property was originally listed in July 2023 for $5.98 million.

Constructed in 2009 by Scottsdale’s Legendary Homes Inc., the 11,695-square-foot main house sits on a 2.18-acre lot and includes a 1,277-square-foot guest house. This sale also marked the largest home ever sold within Peoria’s city limits. The property boasts five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

Realtors Jamie Wong and Melissa Dierks of RE/MAX Fine Properties managed the listing. Public records identify the buyer as Ashoraya Mezdo.

Wong and Dierks have a history of setting records on the same street. They sold a home at 8065 W. Expedition Way for $3.2 million in 2020 and the home at 7979 W. Expedition Way for $5.25 million in April 2023.

The main residence offers panoramic views, a floor-to-ceiling limestone gas fireplace, and custom-designed hard floor surfaces. The kitchen features commercial-grade appliances, multiple dishwashers, and a full-size freezer and refrigerator. It also includes a butler’s pantry that opens to the dining area, with roll-out drawers and glass accent cabinets with built-in lights.

The detached guest house includes a full kitchen, breakfast nook, living room, and a bedroom that opens to a private patio. The property’s amenities extend outdoors with an exterior bar, heated spa, three covered entertainment areas, golf putting greens, and a tennis court. Additionally, the main RV garage accommodates up to six vehicles.
