Family owned and operated Salon Blissful recently opened their third Peoria location. Located at 8256 W. Happy Valley Road, the new location features a full-service hair, skin, and medical spa.
“We are well known in the Peoria community,” says Linda Awdisho, who owns and operates the chain alongside her husband, Steve. “Like our other two Peoria locations, we strive to provide the best customer service experience for our clients. We want them to leave loving the service they received.”
Awdisho, who relocated to Arizona in 2005, has been a licensed stylist for 25 years. In 2015, she and her husband purchased the original Salon Blissful located in Mesa before expanding into Peoria in 2017 and again in 2019.
They continued expanding to a third Peoria location recently and they have also taken client haircare solutions virtual by creating an online store where customers can purchase well-known, popular brands of hair care and styling products that will be delivered right to their door.
According to Awdisho, some of the most popular services they offer include balayage and highlighting for hair and facial fillers like Botox in the medical spa.
Another popular skin treatment offered at the medical spa is the hydrafacial, a noninvasive service that deep cleans, exfoliates, and hydrates skin. Awdisho says Salon Blissful is one of the few medical spas in the West Valley to utilize the state-of-the-art machine.
“Our salons are upscale quality without the upscale price,” she says. “Our clients also get to enjoy the ambiance of an upscale experience without having to drive all the way into Scottsdale.”
The couple plans to continue to grow the Salon Blissful brand in coming years, increasing the accessibility to jobs for stylists and medical spa professionals across the Phoenix metro area. Awdisho shared that her and her husband hope to grow the business large enough to become a major employer in the area.
“I am in the industry, I’m not just a salon owner,” she says. “I live and breathe the hair industry. So, I treat my staff the way I want to be treated.” She says the compensation and treatment stylists receive at Salon Blissful keeps turnover low, allowing the company to continue growing as well as building strong client relationships when they can work continuously with one stylist to meet their haircare needs and goals.
A grand opening event will be held in the first quarter of 2022.
Salon Blissful also offers services for bridal hairstyles, special occasion styling, men’s cuts, extensions, and more. In the medical spa, clients can get treatments including dermaplaning, microneedling, brow and lash services, teeth whitening, and waxing services, including face, underarms, and bikini.
