The September Mix concert series returns to Peoria featuring an eclectic lineup. Enjoy three free concerts on Wednesdays at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N, 83rd Drive. The three-week series showcases different styles of music performed by up-and-coming Arizona musicians.

 

  • Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. – Joshua Moore Quartet (Jazz)

Dr. Joshua Moore is a classical and jazz guitarist who is based in Flagstaff. He has received top prizes in multiple competitions and holds a Doctoral Degree in Musical Arts from the University of Southern California. Josh directs the guitar program and teaches in the Jazz Studies Department at Northern Arizona University.

 

  • Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. – Bailey Zick’s Country Club (Americana)

Phoenix-based Bailey Zick, a multi-instrumentalist and an improviser, plays pedal steel and performs with his band Bailey Zick’s Country Club.

 

  • Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. – Micah Bentley (Indie Folk Rock)

Micah Bentley, an indie and folk singer-songwriter, from Peoria, has been performing for nearly two decades. He is celebrating his recent full-length album release “Sacred Self.”
