Step into a world of glamour and giving at the Wine, Women & Shoes event, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona (BBBSAZ).
On Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Chateau Luxe will host an afternoon filled with fashion, fine wine, and philanthropy at 1175 E. Lone Cactus Dr., in Phoenix.

The day promises a vibrant marketplace for boutique shopping, wine tastings from Tarbell’s Cha Cha Mouche, and a unique opportunity to win prizes with the “Key to the Closet.” Guests will enjoy a delightful luncheon featuring a live auction, an inspiring program, and a lively fashion show. Models will include BBBSAZ Mentors and Mentees, showcasing stylish looks provided by Macy’s Scottsdale, all set to the tunes of a live DJ.

This event isn’t just about enjoying an elegant day out—it’s about celebrating and supporting the power of mentorship. BBBSAZ currently has 200 children on their waitlist, each eager to be matched with a mentor. The goal is to raise over $200,000, which will fund more than 125 Mentor/Mentee relationships for an entire year, providing crucial support and guidance for youth across Maricopa County.

The event will be co-chaired by Amy Walters and Lena Spotleson, with Susan Casper from Arizona’s Family serving as the emcee. Attendees will include BBBSAZ board members, donors, volunteers, and other special guests. The Golden Heels Sponsors—Amazon, Bell Bank, PAYROC, and Ferguson Showroom with Samsung and Brizo—along with other major sponsors like Alliance Bank and Desert Financial Credit Union, are making this event possible.

Attendees can look forward to capturing the day’s highlights on video and in photos, and the media will have opportunities to interview BBBSAZ’s CEO and board members about the significant impact of their mentoring programs. Special guests will also be available to share why they support Big Brothers Big Sisters.
