The College Connect program announced its annual scholarship recipients, each receiving a $1,000 boost towards their post-high school education. All participants in the College Connect workshop or individual sessions were entered into a lottery for the opportunity. Funding for these scholarships is graciously provided by the Ramsey Social Justice Foundation.
Separately, Sophia Mohamed, a student at Desert Vista High School, was honored as the recipient of this year’s Hon. Robin Arredondo-Savage ROTC/Military scholarship. Mountain Pointe High School student Alex Quinn received the Ron Pies Environmental Justice scholarship.
