The Peoria Sports Complex will host the 48th Annual Dolly Sanchez Easter Celebration on Saturday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to noon. This beloved event, held annually the Saturday before Easter, promises a day of fun.
Event highlights include:
• A chance to meet and greet Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny
• Cottontail Lane, a path of table stations where kids can collect goodies, toys, trinkets, and crafts
• Performances and workshops by the Tucson Twist-Its, showcasing their jump rope skills
• A Family Chalk Art Zone, where live chalk artists will captivate attendees with their creations
• A Build-Your-Own Flower Pot Station and appearances by the Dino Crew
• Obstacle courses and slide inflatables for adventurous attendees
• Specialty breakfast food and beverage vendors
• Green Screen Entertainment and Photos
• A display of the Peoria Police Department SWAT Car
• A Sensory Room equipped with noise-canceling headphones, weighted blankets, and more for those with sensory processing needs
• The Teal Egg initiative, ensuring that children and families managing food allergies can safely participate in the festivities
