The Art Galleries of Carefree are pleased to announce the launch of the First Thursday’s Art Walk in picturesque Downtown Carefree. The Art Walk features 13 unique and locally owned galleries offering a diversity of fine art, jewelry, and home décor. Each participating gallery will have snacks and refreshments, as well as featured gallery artists. The Art Walk will take you through the beautiful Carefree Desert Gardens as you make your way from gallery to gallery. This can’t-miss event is the first Thursday of each month through May 6, 2021, and runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
“We are so excited to kick this event off,” says Michele Hutchins of Gallery Michele. “Carefree’s First Thursdays are an opportunity to celebrate local creativity and culture. Each Art Walk event in downtown Carefree presents an opportunity to recognize a local artist whose creativity and artistic spirit make this community a better place to live, work, and visit.”
Participating galleries include: Gallery Michele, Wild Holly Gallery, Grace Renee Gallery, Thunderbird Artists Gallery, Steve Stento Fine Art, Ciolim Art Studio and Gallery, Studio West – RC Gorman Gallery, M&E Stoyanov Art Gallery, Sue Bickerdyke Interiors, Adelante Art Gallery, Lance Headlee Gallery, Native American Gallery, and Desert Glasshopper Studio.
