A special piece of Mexico is replicated in the West Valley. Westgate Entertainment District is home to Tulum Modern Mexican, which pays homage to the small beach town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

Tulum Modern Mexican has been described as an elevated dining experience featuring chic décor and authentic, handcrafted dishes with regional flavors. The venue offers a delightful, imaginative tour thanks to the tastes and ambiance showcased every time you walk through the door.

For those looking to try some special delicacies, the menu presents a variety of options. One dish visitors are encouraged to sample is the made-from-scratch enchiladas de mole. The chef’s mole sauce is served over three chicken enchiladas in fresh, homemade tortillas and topped with toasted sesame seeds and Mexican crème. This menu also offers a wide array of seafood, grilled meats, and creative cocktails to delight the palate.

Some of the seafood favorites include ceviche de camaron with lime-infused shrimp, tomato, red onion, cucumber, and cilantro, and the Roca roll, a sushi roll with Roca shrimp, crab, cream cheese, and cucumber.
If seafood isn’t your preference, there are plenty of other options, including filet mignon and tomahawk steaks. Several side dishes are available for the table to share, including mashed potatoes, creamy mac and cheese, herb-infused sweet potato fries, sea salt fries, asparagus, and cilantro rice.

For those interested in cocktails, there are some excellent options to explore. These refreshing beverages are made with fresh citrus juices prepared in-house every day. Some of the menu highlights include the Take Me Home Tonight, which features pineapple vodka, amaretto, and pineapple juice, and the Potion of the Gods – Itzamna, made with dark rum, gold rum, apricot liqueur, coconut cream, and lemon.

It isn’t just the food and drinks that attract visitors; live entertainment is offered a few nights a week. From Thursday to Saturday, guests can enjoy live fire dancers, DJs, and guitarists.

The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
