In Arizona, March showers bring April flowers, and Desert Ridge Marketplace is celebrating the spring season with colorful art installations, picture-perfect photo opportunities, events and more! Guests will be treated to free, family-friendly, socially distant fun all month long.
Desert Ridge Marketplace partnered with local artist Courtney Larsen to design a one-of-a-kind interactive chalk wall in The District. The goal of the art piece is to spread positivity and invite the community to share their thoughts with others. The chalk wall, themed “Miracle Maker,” highlights how one is in charge of their own destiny and aims to inspire guests to continue dreaming. Guests are encouraged to tag @desertridge when sharing photos on social media.
Through the end of the month, shoppers can snap shots of A Buzz & A Bloom, a floral fantasy land filled with buzzing bees, bugs, and blossoming buds near H&M. Plus Instagrammable photo-opportunities are always in store with new and exciting art popping up in The District, like the neon-lit rainbow arches near The Splash Pad.
In addition, Copper Blues Live will celebrate its grand re-opening April 21-24 with live music, trivia and tribute nights, live comedy shows, brunch, and more.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner and Desert Ridge Marketplace will feature a photo opp and giveaway to celebrate your mom. From April 24 – May 10, guests are invited to snap a photo, tag @desertridge and use #lovemomdrm for a chance to win a weekend staycation for mom with $300 in gift cards to spoil-worthy spots and a framed photo.
Desert Ridge Marketplace also features some of the Valley’s hottest local bands every Friday and Saturday night. The community can enjoy the sounds of Tracing Faces, Traveler, Priscilla Rose Band, Come Back Buddy, Serena Nicolle and more at The District Stage, located near Dave & Buster’s.
Plus, save the date for Music + Murals. Desert Ridge Marketplace is bringing an evening art stroll to The District that features live painting and music on Friday, May 7 from 5-9 p.m.
