Local families rejoice because, just in time for the summer heat, Uptown Jungle is opening its new location on the corner of 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard. The official grand opening date is May 28.
Uptown Jungle is a multi-level indoor adventure park housed inside a 13,000 square foot building that lives up to its name, according to the company. The air-conditioned facility is filled to the ceiling with an interconnected maze of play structures, climbing walls, an air floor, and warrior courses all designed to explore, challenge, and reveal the superhero in all kids.
“In a world of so much negativity, we want to provide our communities with a place where kids and families can come and leave their worries behind through an amazing experience filled with play and fun,” says Brad Collins, company president. “That mission applies to all our guests, employees, vendors, and communities. We want them to all be better off with Uptown Jungle’s involvement.”
“We have a huge mix of activities and challenges for kids of all ages with a focus on physical activity. It’s different than any other family entertainment venue out there.”
For parents with little ones, Uptown Jungle Parks also provide an exclusive, interactive toddler area for children ages 5 and under.
The new location will be at 10630 N. 32nd Street and the grand opening is on May 28. Similar to other Uptown Jungle locations, they plan to offer birthday and event services, student incentives, fundraising opportunities for local organizations, and competitive pricing (per visit or membership based).
