Where do superheroes grab a bite? Turns out, it’s within this realm.
ComicX brings superhero fans an immersive fantasy dining experience that pairs life-sized statues of comic book superheroes and villains from the last six decades with tasty eats. Located at Desert Ridge Marketplace, ComicX offers the perfect adventure for a night out with family, friends, colleagues, or even a bite by yourself.
Inside the 8,000-square-foot theme restaurant, you’re greeted by life-sized likenesses of Batman and Spider-Man, perched above in a city scene ripped out of a comic book. Among the 30 or so realistic-looking statues, get up close to Iron Man, Thor, and The Hulk, while checking out displays devoted to characters like Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Captain America. Look up and you’ll see a full-sized Silver Surfer dangling above.
There is also a new spot for folks to check out inside the restaurant––the Star Wars bar and lounge. Located upstairs in the two-story establishment, the Star Wars bar features dedicated specialty drinks. This level is devoted to the likes of Boba Fett, Yoda, and Darth Vader.
It isn’t just the character fun that brings you to the table, the food is just as exciting as the atmosphere. There is something for everyone at your table to enjoy––from burgers, to pasta, salads, sandwiches, and more.
Looking for a good bite to start your meal, why not check out the Mozzarella Plate or Rockets Dirty Nachos – both great ways to kick things off for any foodie.
Turning to the main dish, there are plenty of options. The burgers are cooked to perfection and juicy, so make sure you have plenty of napkins. All the burgers are at least two Angus beef patties (some have more) that you can customize with bacon, caramelized onions, cheese, etc. If burgers aren’t your thing, we suggest the Ultimate Meatball Sandwich. Delicious bread packed with meatballs, sauce, and cheese; this dish offers hearty Italian flavor. Other sandwiches include Bruce’s BLT, which comes with house smoked bacon, romaine hearts, beefsteak tomatoes, and avocado spread on sourdough bread.
For those searching for some lighter fare, there are a few salad options as well: the Blaze Buffalo Chicken, Little Gem Caesar, and the Green Goddess.
Entrees that are sure to leave you full and satisfied include the Sticky Icky Ribs, Fish N’ Chips, and one of our new favorites, Mr. Fettuccini Alfredo Carbonara. It’s a very delicious and filling pasta dish sure to curb any pasta craving you might be having.
If you are looking to grab a specialty cocktail – there are plenty of great theming options available. In the new Star Wars Lounge, there is a Blue Saber made with Corazon tequila, Blue Curacao, Lime Juice, Orgeat with a White Sugar Rim. There is also social media picture worthy Cantina Sunset, made with Corazon Tequila, Blue Curacao, orange, lemon, cherry, and Pomegranate juice. These drinks are only served in the upstairs lounge. There are plenty of other flavorful alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options in the main restaurant as well.
Before you head home, be sure to save room for dessert. For any fan of Harry Potter, you’ll recognize butter beer. ComicX’s specialty dessert drink is Harry’s Butter Beer and it’s delicious. Other sweet treats include the incredible churro bowl and fluffy smore’s dip.
