Experience the restful benefits of Yoga Nidra – a calming practice that works with the autonomic nervous system to deeply relax the body and mind – this month at The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Led by yoga instructor and sound healer Renée Colby, the series will run every Wednesday throughout the month of November.
“The upcoming holiday season is a time of much excitement and energy, but also can be stressful; sleep is often the first thing to be sacrificed in a busy schedule,” says Senior Spa Director Jaana Roth. “Yoga Nidra is the ideal antidote to a day spent on the go, allowing the body to experience serenity and balance, and help prepare for deep sleep.”
The Yoga Nidra series will be held at 6 p.m. every Wednesday evening in November, starting November 3. Participants are treated to an hour-long Yoga Nidra class, accompanied by sound healing. Guests will enjoy complimentary cookies and tea following the class.
Open to both resort and local guests, the Yoga Nidra classes are priced at $25 per person. Local guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. All guests should check in at The Spa upon arrival.
To reserve a spot in the Yoga Nidra class, call The Spa at 480-513-5145.
